Joe Rudolph is an American football coach who currently serves as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin. He has been with the Badgers since 2015, initially serving as the offensive coordinator and then taking over as the offensive line coach in 2017.
Rudolph played college football at the University of Wisconsin from 1991 to 1993, where he was a standout offensive lineman. He went on to have a brief playing career in the NFL, being signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 1994.
After his playing career, Rudolph transitioned into coaching, starting as a graduate assistant at Ohio State before moving on to various coaching positions at schools such as Nebraska, Temple, and Pittsburgh. He also had a brief stint in the NFL as an offensive quality control coach for the Cleveland Browns.
Rudolph is considered a skilled and experienced coach, particularly when it comes to coaching offensive line play. He has helped develop several players into All-Americans and NFL prospects during his coaching career.
